Josh Powers Wins Inaugural Media Alliance of Houston Creative Director Award

On April 18, 2024, Nicely Done Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Josh Powers, became the inaugural winner of the Media Alliance of Houston (MAH) Creative Director/Manager Award. It’s the first time in MAH’s 70+ year history that the media organization has given a creative award. Traditionally, the organization only awards those on the media side of the advertising industry.

Honored to Be the First

“Winning any award from Media Alliance of Houston is an honor,” commented Powers. “But to be the first-ever winner of the Creative Director/Manager award is truly special. I appreciate MAH including a creative award this year and moving forward.”

Making the award even more special, Josh designed MAH’s new logo in 2023. He noted, “I’ve been fortunate to win my share of awards in my career, but this is certainly the first time I’ve won an award that features a logo I designed.”

In addition to designing the MAH logo, Josh Powers developed the theme and designed all event creative elements in 2023 and 2024 and will be joining the board as an At-Large Board Member in May.

Finalists for Additional Awards

Nicely Done Brands & Ads was also a finalist for Local Agency (Small), and Co-Founder Stephanie Weaver McKee was a finalist for Local Media Director (she has previously won awards for Local Agency Media Director, Local Agency Planner, and Local Agency Buyer).

“As a past MAH president myself, I was thrilled that we were finalists in multiple categories this year,” said McKee. “Nicely Done will certainly be back next year to support one of our city’s most engaging professional organizations. We are proud to be a part of the work MAH does to provide scholarships and financial support for those in need through the DREAM Fund.”
